Dave is the co-founder of Raetz and Hawkins, P.C. Dave’s work focuses on providing accounting, auditing, and tax services to business clients, in addition to offering business advisory services. Prior to co-founding Raetz and Hawkins, Dave worked at Georgia Bonded Fibers, Inc., as a corporate controller. In this position, Dave was responsible for all financial matters of the business, which gave him additional experience in and exposure to the manufacturing industry. Prior to his position at Georgia Bonded Fibers, Inc., Dave worked with the international accounting firm of Price Waterhouse, where he served as audit staff, senior and manager, serving a wide range of industries. Dave’s comprehensive experience with tax-related business matters makes him an invaluable and unparalleled resource for clients seeking advice on a variety of tax-related topics.

Dave is an elder at Lexington Presbyterian Church and past Chairman of the Church’s Finance and Nominating Committees. In addition, he has contributed to the community through his service as a board member and a participant of numerous civic and not-for-profit organizations. He is a loyal UVA alumnus and always enjoys returning to Charlottesville to catch a sporting event.
